I just purchased my first billboard ad in Times Square! At the end of our vacation in New York City, my husband and I wandered through the bustling crowd. While there, we noticed an offer for 15 seconds of fame in some of the most coveted ad space ever. It cost me a total of $12.50 for my billboard time and new tank top. I have always been thrifty.

One of my favorite movies of all time is 'Dance 'Til Dawn'. It was a made for tv 80's movie that I watched at least 10,000 times! The cast included Alyssa Milano, Christina Applegate, Tempestt Bledsoe, Brian Bloom and Alan Thicke. I recorded this jem on vhs when I was in grade school and still love to pop it in every once in a while. If you haven't seen it and you love a good cheesy girly movie do yourself a favor and pick it up.

My newest design, the Zipper Rosette App is an application you can use on several of your accessories. On the back of each is an elastic band which can be slipped over everything from a belt, headband, wrist cuff, or ribbon to be tied around a hat or around the neck to create a bib necklace.

I have been creating Zipper Rosette headpieces, belts, etc and I thought how wonderful it would be to create all of them in one. Then I was trying to come up with a name, I wanted to name it something clever. I decided to do a play on words and name it an App. It may not be as technically savy as an Iphone App but definitely fashion savy. Each are one of a kind and handcrafted by me.
