Last week I started sponsoring horror host shows on my local cable access channel. If you are not familiar with the genre, you may recall The Vampira Show which set the standard.
I got hooked on scary movies in grade school. At sleepovers I could always rely on my friend Beth to bring something to make us hide under our covers all night waiting for our untimely death. There was always a double feature when we stayed at her house. Beth’s Mom loved Grandfather clocks so if you had dared to fall asleep, at midnight you would be awaken by surrounding chimes. How quiet and scary the house would feel after the last chime! I am so excited to be bringing my community a reason to hide under their covers.
Here is the list of the four frightastic horror host shows that air on PortMedia Channel 10 Saturdays at 9pm, with repeats Wednesdays at 9pm and Fridays at Midnight.
