Here are a couple pictures I took before the Rubbish to Runway Fashion show and during rehearsal. Thank you to all of you that came!
The blouse is made from an old pair of knit pants. I flipped the pants and cut open the inseam for the neckline. I then used all the access length to create the drapey neckline and sleeves. The skirt is several layers of Women’s Wear Daily newspaper that I sewed together on a diagonal and then slashed to create a chenille effect. The necklace is from my current jewelry collection which is made from re-purposed chain, car parts, recycled leather and a raw gemstones.
