Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! My husband and I went to the Historical Valentine Exhibit at St. Paul’s Church in Newburyport today. Patsy, the collector was knowledgeable and more than happy to share her large collection of valentines dating from the late 1800s to 1960s. Valentines use to be a much more serious business, often followed by marriage. Here are a couple of my favorites.
